The Senior Engineer – NPD (Wiring Harness) will be responsible for supporting end-to-end new product development activities including drawing study, BOM preparation, APQP/PPAP documentation, prototype development, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product development and successful project execution.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering with relevant NPD experience.
Experience:
2+ Years in the wire harness industry.
Drawing study and interpretation of customer schematics and specifications
Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and engineering documentation
PPAP preparation including PFD, Control Plan, DFMEA and PFMEA
Proficiency in AutoCAD for wiring harness layouts and drawings
Strong communication skills for customer and cross-functional coordination
Project Leader and NPD timeline tracking
Prototyping and sample development (new harness build and validation)
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Attention to detail and documentation discipline
Team collaboration and ownership mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
