Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with expertise in factory infrastructure construction to plan, execute, and supervise industrial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing civil works, ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and timely completion of manufacturing facilities and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and execute factory infrastructure projects including industrial buildings, production halls, warehouses, office buildings, and utility structures.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP engineers, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review civil drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction schedules.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage construction of foundations, RCC structures, steel structures, roads, drainage systems, boundary walls, utility pipelines, and landscaping.
- Track project progress, budgets, material consumption, and contractor performance.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure adherence to statutory and environmental regulations.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion certificates.
- Coordinate procurement of construction materials and monitor inventory.
- Resolve technical issues and recommend engineering solutions during project execution.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports for management.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and quality standards.
- Support factory expansion, renovation, and maintenance projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering).
- 2-3 years of experience in industrial/factory infrastructure construction.
- Experience in manufacturing plant construction, industrial sheds, warehouses, utility buildings, and infrastructure development.
- Knowledge of RCC, structural steel, industrial flooring, roads, drainage, and utility systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, MS Excel, and project management tools.
- Good understanding of IS Codes, safety standards, and construction quality practices.
- Strong project management, communication, and contractor management skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in greenfield or brownfield manufacturing projects.
- Exposure to EPC contractors and industrial project execution.
- Knowledge of industrial utility systems such as STP, ETP, fire water tanks, underground piping, and electrical infrastructure.
