Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) – IPO & Finance to lead the company's financial planning, IPO readiness, statutory compliance, corporate finance, and strategic financial management. The candidate will play a key role in preparing the organization for an Initial Public Offering (IPO), ensuring compliance with SEBI, Companies Act, and stock exchange regulations while supporting the financial growth of a rapidly expanding manufacturing business.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial reporting, IPO documentation, investor relations, budgeting, internal controls, taxation, fundraising, and manufacturing finance.
Key Responsibilities
1. IPO Planning & Execution
- Lead the company's IPO preparation and execution strategy.
- Coordinate with merchant bankers, legal advisors, auditors, registrars, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare financial information required for the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) and Red Herring Prospectus (RHP).
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, Companies Act, and Stock Exchange listing requirements.
- Support due diligence, financial restructuring, and corporate governance initiatives.
- Manage IPO timelines and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, profitability, and operational performance.
- Develop financial models for expansion projects and capital investments.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management and the Board of Directors.
- Support strategic business decisions through financial analysis.
3. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements as per Ind AS.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and financial records.
- Ensure timely statutory audits and internal audits.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and consultants.
- Implement strong internal financial controls.
4. Manufacturing Finance
- Monitor product costing and cost analysis.
- Analyze inventory valuation and manufacturing variances.
- Control production costs and overhead allocation.
- Improve inventory turnover and working capital efficiency.
- Support plant finance and capital expenditure projects.
- Develop cost optimization initiatives.
5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate tax assessments and audits.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation where applicable.
- Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns.
- Monitor changes in tax laws affecting manufacturing operations.
6. Treasury & Fund Management
- Manage banking relationships and credit facilities.
- Optimize cash flow and liquidity management.
- Support fundraising through debt, equity, and private investments.
- Evaluate financing options for business expansion.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure and hedging strategies.
7. Investor Relations & Corporate Governance
- Support communication with investors, analysts, and shareholders.
- Prepare Board presentations and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies.
- Assist in annual reports and shareholder communications.
- Support ESG and sustainability reporting initiatives where applicable.
8. Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Develop and strengthen financial control systems.
- Identify financial and operational risks.
- Implement internal control frameworks.
- Monitor compliance with SOPs and financial policies.
- Support enterprise risk management initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 8–15 years of experience in manufacturing finance
- Experience in IPO, private equity, or listed companies preferred
- Strong knowledge of SEBI regulations and Companies Act
- Experience working with Big 4 firms is an advantage
- Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, and strategic finance
