About the Role
Celestix Industries is looking for a Senior Accounts Executive with 2–6 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector to support financial accounting, banking, statutory compliance, reporting and manufacturing accounts at our Ahmedabad facility.
The role requires strong practical knowledge of accounting and finance within a manufacturing environment, including inventory accounting, banking transactions, cash-flow planning, GST, TDS, ERP accounting, financial closing and MIS reporting.
Candidates must have prior manufacturing-sector experience. Candidates from Ahmedabad or nearby locations are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Banking & Cash Flow Management
- Manage day-to-day coordination with banking partners for transactions and fund transfers.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash-flow forecasts.
- Compare actual cash flows against projected cash flows.
- Maintain visibility of working-capital requirements.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve reconciliation differences.
Manufacturing Accounting
- Maintain accurate accounting records within a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain inventory-related financial records for:
- Raw materials
- Work-in-progress (WIP)
- Finished goods
- Ensure manufacturing transactions are accurately reflected in the accounting system.
- Support visibility of production-related costs and financial information.
ERP & Accounting Systems
- Manage accounting and financial entries using ERP systems.
- Work with Tally Prime, SAP, Focus ERP or similar accounting / ERP platforms.
- Ensure financial transactions are entered accurately and supported by appropriate documentation.
Financial Documentation
- Maintain complete supporting documentation for financial transactions.
- Maintain shipment-related financial records where applicable.
- Organise documents required for statutory filings.
- Ensure financial records can be retrieved efficiently for audits, reconciliations and management review.
GST & Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST accounting and compliance activities.
- Support preparation and filing requirements relating to:
- Handle GST reconciliations.
- Support TDS filings and reconciliations.
- Coordinate statutory returns and maintain supporting documentation.
Audit Coordination
- Coordinate with internal auditors.
- Coordinate with external and statutory auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules.
- Provide supporting accounting records and documentation.
- Assist in resolving audit queries and ensuring requested information is available on time.
Month-End & Year-End Closing
- Support and manage month-end financial closing activities.
- Support year-end financial closing processes.
- Review accounting records required for financial reporting.
- Ensure required reconciliations and supporting schedules are completed before closing.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare Balance Sheets.
- Prepare Profit & Loss Statements.
- Support preparation of other financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate and supported by accounting records.
MIS & Cost Analysis
- Prepare monthly MIS reports.
- Highlight production costs and relevant financial trends.
- Analyse budget variances.
- Provide financial information that supports management review and decision-making.
Required Experience
- 2–6 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is mandatory.
- Practical exposure to manufacturing accounting, financial reporting, GST, TDS, banking operations and ERP systems is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CA Intermediate / CA Dropout candidates are preferred.
- CMA qualification is preferred.

Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills are important, along with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies before they affect reporting or compliance.

Success in this role means maintaining accurate manufacturing accounts, completing bank and account reconciliations on time, keeping GST and TDS requirements organised, supporting smooth month-end and year-end closing, and providing management with reliable financial and MIS reporting.
