Celestix Industries is hiring Junior Graphic Designers / Vector Artwork Designers to create custom artwork for LED neon signs.
This role is ideal for someone with strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, vector design, typography design, layout design and logo tracing who enjoys turning customer ideas into clean, attractive, production-ready artwork.
You do not need previous neon-sign design or signage manufacturing experience.
We will teach you how LED neon signs are manufactured and how custom artwork must be prepared for production.
Fresh graduates, junior graphic designers and candidates with freelance, academic or personal design experience are encouraged to apply.
This position focuses on creating designs that are visually appealing, accurately reflect customer requirements and can be manufactured using LED neon flex.
You should be comfortable using Adobe Illustrator for vector artwork and graphic design.

Your job is to convert these customer requirements into clean, attractive custom neon sign artwork that our production team can manufacture.
A typical job may look like:
Customer sends logo → You redraw/vectorize it → Convert it into a neon-compatible design → Prepare customer mock-up → Customer approves → Prepare production artwork
This process requires both creative graphic design and careful attention to the technical requirements of physical signage production.
The focus is on accurate vector design, typography design, custom artwork and visual layout, with every design prepared for eventual manufacture.
Strong attention to customer requirements, layout design, alignment and visual balance is important throughout the artwork approval process.
This is an important part of the role.
The final design must not only look good on a computer screen. It must also be possible to manufacture accurately.

Your responsibility will be to prepare production-ready vector artwork that follows the approved design and can be used by our signage manufacturing team.
Candidates should know the basics of Adobe Illustrator, including:

These skills are particularly useful for vector design, logo tracing, typography and production artwork preparation.
A large percentage of custom neon signs are text-based.
You should have a good visual understanding of:
You should be able to look at a phrase and make it visually attractive rather than simply typing it in the middle of an artboard.
Good typography design, font selection, text layout, spacing and visual composition are essential for producing attractive neon sign artwork.
Customers frequently provide low-quality JPGs, screenshots or photographs.
You should be able to redraw or clean these into usable vector artwork.

The objective is to create accurate, clean vector graphics and production-ready artwork from customer-supplied designs.
You should understand or be willing to learn common formats including:
Experience with Adobe Illustrator is the primary software requirement.
Knowledge of CorelDRAW or Adobe Photoshop is useful, particularly for candidates with experience in graphic design, signage design or production artwork.

Prior experience as a Junior Graphic Designer, Artwork Designer, Signage Designer or Vector Artwork Designer is useful but not mandatory.

This position starts with on-site training at our manufacturing facility so you can understand our products and manufacturing requirements.
Once you are independently able to prepare accurate production artwork, a hybrid working arrangement may be available based on performance and business requirements.

A professional portfolio is helpful, but it does not need to be extensive.
