Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Production Executive with experience in Channel Letter manufacturing to manage the end-to-end production of illuminated signage. The candidate will be responsible for planning, fabrication, assembly, quality control, and timely delivery of channel letters while ensuring high manufacturing standards, productivity, and workplace safety.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing front-lit, halo-lit, backlit, and fabricated channel letters, along with knowledge of acrylic fabrication, stainless steel fabrication, aluminum fabrication, LED installation, and sign assembly. Modern channel letter production typically involves design review, CNC/laser cutting, bending, welding, polishing, LED assembly, testing, and final quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning

• Plan and schedule daily production activities based on customer orders.
• Allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently.
• Monitor production targets and ensure on-time completion.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, and Dispatch teams.

Channel Letter Manufacturing

• Supervise fabrication of stainless steel, aluminum, and acrylic channel letters.
• Operate and monitor laser cutting, CNC routing, acrylic cutting, channel letter bending, welding, polishing, and finishing processes.
• Ensure accurate assembly of LED modules, power supplies, wiring, and electrical components.
• Monitor acrylic face fitting, trim cap installation, and final letter assembly.
• Ensure production follows approved drawings and customer specifications.

Quality Control

• Inspect fabricated letters for dimensions, finish, alignment, illumination, and overall quality.
• Minimize production defects and rework.
• Ensure proper electrical testing before dispatch.
• Maintain quality standards throughout production.

Machine & Material Management

• Monitor machine utilization and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure availability of raw materials including:
  • Stainless Steel
  • Aluminium
  • Acrylic Sheets
  • LED Modules
  • Power Supplies
  • Trim Caps
  • Adhesives
  • Fasteners
• Control material wastage and improve productivity.

Team Management

• Supervise production operators and technicians.
• Train new employees on production methods and safety procedures.
• Maintain discipline and teamwork on the shop floor.
• Monitor attendance and manpower utilization.

Safety & Continuous Improvement

• Follow workplace safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity.
• Reduce production lead time and manufacturing costs.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the production area.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Channel Letter manufacturing.
• Knowledge of stainless steel, aluminum, and acrylic fabrication.
• Experience with laser cutting, CNC routing, and channel letter bending machines.
• Understanding of LED lighting installation and electrical wiring.
• Ability to read production drawings and fabrication layouts.
• Knowledge of welding, polishing, and finishing techniques.
• Good understanding of quality inspection procedures.
• Strong leadership and production planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in channel letter, signage, or illuminated sign manufacturing.
• Experience working with automated channel letter production equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production documentation is an added advantage.
