Celestix Industries is looking for a hands-on Signage Production Manager with experience in LED signage, signage manufacturing, sign board manufacturing, channel letters and related fabrication to lead our signage production operations.
We are specifically looking for someone who understands how illuminated signage, LED signs, 3D letters and fabricated sign boards are actually manufactured on the shop floor.
This is not a desk-only production planning position.
The person should be comfortable working directly with machines, operators, fabricators, electricians and production drawings and should be capable of managing the complete signage manufacturing cycle:
Production Drawings → Material Planning → Cutting → Bending → Fabrication → LED Assembly → Finishing → Testing → Packing → Dispatch
The ideal candidate may currently be working as a Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Signage Production Manager, Fabrication Supervisor, Workshop Manager or Senior Production Executive in the signage industry.

The candidate should understand the practical manufacturing process for channel letters, 3D letters and illuminated sign board fabrication.

We are looking for someone with strong shop floor management and production supervision skills who is comfortable spending significant time on the production floor, not managing signage production entirely through reports.
Hands-on understanding of several of the following manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.
Metal Processing & Sheet Metal Fabrication
Acrylic Processing & Fabrication
Electrical Assembly & LED Signage
Experience with laser cutting, CNC cutting, sheet metal fabrication, letter bending, LED assembly and electrical testing is particularly valuable.
The candidate should be able to understand fabrication drawings and convert them into practical production activities.
Experience with any of the following is useful:
You do not need to be a graphic designer.
However, you should be able to review a production drawing and understand how the sign, channel letter or fabricated component will be manufactured, including material selection, cutting, bending, fabrication and assembly.
The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring that finished LED signs, channel letters and fabricated signage meet drawing and customer requirements.
Quality control and inspection should include:
The goal is to identify defects during production rather than after the product reaches final inspection.
Strong understanding of production quality, LED testing, electrical testing, finishing quality and manufacturing quality control is important.
Monitor the consumption and availability of materials required for signage manufacturing and fabrication, including:
Work closely with Purchase and Stores to prevent production stoppages caused by missing materials.
The candidate should understand material planning and material consumption throughout the signage fabrication process.
We are looking for someone who thinks beyond simply completing a production job.
The Production Manager should continuously work on:
The objective is to improve manufacturing efficiency, production quality and repeatability while supporting on-time dispatch of finished signage products.
We strongly prefer candidates with direct experience in one or more of the following industries:
Candidates with practical experience managing illuminated signage, LED signs, sheet metal fabricated signs or channel letter production will be particularly relevant.
A candidate does not necessarily need to come from a company calling itself a channel letter manufacturer or LED signage manufacturer.
We will consider strong production candidates from:
Candidates from adjacent industries should have sufficient experience with the relevant fabrication processes and be capable of learning channel letter production quickly.
Diploma, ITI, B.E. or B.Tech in:
Important: Relevant hands-on production experience is more important to us than the degree.
A strong signage professional with extensive practical manufacturing experience should apply even without a B.E. or B.Tech qualification.
You may be a particularly strong fit if you can walk into a signage workshop, look at a production drawing for a 6-foot illuminated stainless-steel channel letter and independently understand:
We want someone who understands both production management and hands-on signage fabrication, from sheet metal cutting and channel letter bending to LED assembly, testing and dispatch.
That practical knowledge is more important to us than your current designation.
