About the Role
Celestix Industries is looking for a hands-on Signage Production Manager with 3–5 years of relevant experience in signage, channel letters, LED signs or related fabrication to lead signage manufacturing operations at our Changodar, Ahmedabad facility.
We are specifically looking for someone who understands how illuminated signage is manufactured on the shop floor. This is not a desk-only production planning role.
The candidate should be comfortable working directly with machines, operators, fabricators, electricians and production drawings and should be capable of taking a signage job through the complete manufacturing cycle:
Drawing → Material Planning → Cutting → Bending → Fabrication → LED Assembly → Finishing → Testing → Packing → Dispatch

Key Responsibilities
Complete Signage Production
- Take responsibility for production from approved drawing through final dispatch.
- Coordinate material planning, cutting, CNC operations and laser cutting.
- Oversee letter bending, welding and acrylic fabrication.
- Manage polishing, finishing and LED installation.
- Coordinate electrical wiring and testing.
- Ensure quality inspection is completed before packing and dispatch preparation.
Channel Letter Manufacturing
- Review production drawings and letter dimensions before production begins.
- Determine the appropriate manufacturing sequence.
- Plan stainless steel, aluminium, acrylic and other material requirements.
- Coordinate laser and CNC cutting operations.
- Manage channel-letter bending.
- Ensure correct returns, flanges and letter depth.
- Supervise welding, soldering and joining operations.
- Monitor grinding, buffing and polishing.
- Coordinate preparation and fitting of acrylic faces.
- Supervise LED module placement.
- Ensure correct wiring and power-supply configuration.
- Verify illumination quality before final approval.
Production Planning & Execution
- Prepare daily and weekly production schedules.
- Prioritise jobs based on committed delivery dates.
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Allocate machines and production resources.
- Monitor actual production against planned targets.
- Identify bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
- Coordinate urgent and rush production requirements.
- Maintain clear visibility of jobs at each stage of production.
Shop Floor & Manpower Management
Supervise and coordinate production personnel including:
- Fabricators
- Welders
- Machine operators
- Letter-bending operators
- Acrylic technicians
- Electricians
- LED assemblers
- Polishers
- Helpers
- Quality inspectors
Responsibilities include:
- Daily job allocation

The role requires significant time on the production floor rather than managing production only through reports.

Production Drawing Interpretation
- Read and understand fabrication drawings.
- Convert drawings into practical production activities.
- Understand how dimensions, materials and construction details affect manufacturing.
- Coordinate with production teams based on approved drawings.
Experience with any of the following is useful:

- CorelDRAW
- Adobe Illustrator
- CAD fabrication drawings
Graphic-design expertise is not required, but the candidate should be able to understand how a sign shown in a drawing will be manufactured.
Quality Control
Ensure finished signage meets drawing and customer requirements.
Inspection should cover:

- Surface finish
- Polish quality

Monitor consumption and availability of materials including:

Work closely with Purchase and Stores to prevent production delays caused by material shortages.

Required Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Direct experience in signage manufacturing, channel-letter manufacturing, LED signage or related fabrication is strongly preferred.
- Candidates should have practical shop-floor understanding of signage production and fabrication processes.

Practical production capability is more important than the candidate's current designation.

The Signage Production Manager should improve machines, processes, fixtures, production layout, quality, production speed, material utilisation and team capability while reducing waste, rework and unnecessary dependence on manual operations.
